Rideshare Auto Accident Settlement
Rideshares are supposed to be a safe alternative to driving. The rider enters the vehicle under the assumption that the driver is not impaired and will drive cautiously, but that does not always happen.
Our client was a backseat passenger in a rideshare vehicle when the driver pulled out from a stop sign into cross traffic causing an accident. The driver was functioning on less than an adequate amount of sleep as there was evidence that he drove until after 2 am the previous shift and began driving again at 7 am that same day up until 6 pm when the crash occurred. On top of the sleep deprivation impairment from the driver, he also failed to ensure that our client was properly belted in before departing which resulted in our client experiencing head and neck injuries from the accident.
Attorneys Jennifer Neal, Caleb Rackley, and Jessica Peisen along with their team immediately got to work when our client called. They immersed themselves in all the difficult to navigate driver policies for rideshares and built a strong case foundation for our client. Women’s History Month 2024
At Guerra LLP we have twenty-five outstanding attorneys, fifteen of whom are female.
