What is a Grasshopper?
The Law Clerk, or Grasshopper Program, is an immersive clerkship program that allows participants to experience the entire litigation process. Derived from the movie, "Kung Fu", our Capital Partner uses this term to refer to those students just beginning their legal journey with us.
From the intake of a case through trial or settlements, grasshoppers are an essential component in completing imminent casework that assists our Attorneys with their deadlines.

Our Mission
Our program takes place in an intense but non-competitive learning atmosphere where grasshoppers are encouraged to ask questions and attend legal proceedings for all types of cases. It is an investment program for the participant, meaning, that the more time and effort they dedicate to their assignments, the more they will learn and grow. The program requires that they work together to utilize the “collective wisdom of the crowd”.
Upon their completion of the program, it is our goal to ensure that those who are involved and take full advantage of all the program has to offer, will be comfortable in the next step of their career as a future attorney. They will gain experience that will guide them through the rest of their careers and gain exposure to areas of law that most do not get exposed to until they are a seasoned attorney.
