Our client purchased a UTV from a local motorsports store for their family to enjoy together. At the store employees’ suggestion, the standard-issue seatbelt was replaced with a four-point racing harness. No instruction or warning about the harness of any kind was provided. They were driving the UTV, attempted to cross through a stream, and it became stuck in a puddle causing it to sink. Due to its complicated design and lack of any instruction, warning, or training, their ten-year-old son was unable to escape from the racing harness and, unfortunately, drowned.

They worked endlessly to ensure they had ironclad arguments and immovable evidence to help the family obtain justice for something they should not have ever experienced in the first place.
