2.25 Million Dollar Auto Accident Settlement

In a hard-fought battle against the defense, Attorneys Jennifer Neal, Mike Murray, and Julie Matsen demanded justice and received a 2.25 MILLION DOLLAR settlement for their clients.

Our clients were driving a pickup truck with a ball hitch on the back. Another truck pulling a heavy water tank rear-ended our clients while weaving in and out of traffic. The accident appeared minor because there was only a small amount of damage to the bumper of our client’s pickup.

But dashcam footage showed the real story. The force of the crash was, for the most part, absorbed by the ball hitch. This didn’t stop the force of the sudden impact from traveling through the frame of the pickup, tossing the occupants around, and causing our clients severe neck and back injuries. The defense even tried to avoid disclosing insurance policies meant to cover our clients’ injuries.

Jennifer ensured her clients’ voices were heard when the odds were against them. Our team’s persistence led to justice for our clients in what originally seemed like a simple fender bender. Things are not always what they appear to be, and our team will uncover the truth at all cost. Kudos, team!

Seven Figure Product Liability Settlement

When our attorneys help our clients, they immerse themselves and fiercely advocate for justice, and for the past four years, Attorney Erin Rogiers has been fighting.

Erin is one of our product liability expert attorneys who has had extensive experience with proven results. The dedication she applied to this case is proof that her expertise was a key component of the family receiving justice.

Our client purchased a UTV from a local motorsports store for their family to enjoy together. At the store employees’ suggestion, the standard-issue seatbelt was replaced with a four-point racing harness. No instruction or warning about the harness of any kind was provided. They were driving the UTV, attempted to cross through a stream, and it became stuck in a puddle causing it to sink. Due to its complicated design and lack of any instruction, warning, or training, their ten-year-old son was unable to escape from the racing harness and, unfortunately, drowned.

Erin along with Attorneys, Mike Murray and Bailey VanNatta, as well as their team, put their heart and soul into this case to advocate for this family. They worked endlessly to ensure they had ironclad arguments and immovable evidence to help the family obtain justice for something they should not have ever experienced in the first place. Finally, after four long years, justice was delivered, and the defendants settled the case for a seven-figure settlement.

Workplace Accident Settlement

Safety Rules are set in place to help prevent injuries on a worksite for all those who enter the property. In our recent settlement, the general contractor had two sets of rules – one for his employees and a less strict version for his subcontractors. Our client was a subcontractor who unfortunately fell to his death in a preventable accident. If a harness had been required as it was for the employees of the General Contractor, he would not have fallen. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

Attorneys Shalimar Wallis, Mike Murray, and Chloe Shrode wasted no time in their pursuit of justice for our client. They made sure that the case was built on a firm foundation of facts that supported the wrongdoings of the General Contractor. During the course of their diligence, they learned this General Contractor had been cited on four other occasions for their failure to require harnesses on the job site by the company’s own safety consultant. These inspection reports were the smoking gun, forcing a settlement thereafter.

Customer Safety Settlement

Big retailers have many policies in place in order to keep their employees and customers safe, but what happens if those policies are not followed?

In our latest settlement Attorneys Erin Rogiers, Michael Murray, and David Fuentes helped our client when a retailer failed to maintain safe in-store practices, resulting in a hazardous environment causing injury to our client.
