Associate Attorneys at our law firm are recent law school graduates who have passed the bar or are attorneys with a few years of experience under their belt. Currently, ten of our thirteen Associates at Guerra LLP are females. 2023 Guerra LLP Goals
The word that described our firm in 2022 was “relentless”. We were relentless in our pursuit of justice for our clients, relentless in our dedication to the litigation process, and relentless in our mission to make not just our city, but the world a better place.
Distracted Driving Auto Accident Settlement
There are three types of distracted driving – visual (taking your eyes off the road), manual (taking your hands off the wheel), and cognitive (taking your mind off driving). NHTSA statistics show a significant increase in the likelihood of injury or death due to vehicle collisions when a driver is distracted. Our client was a victim of a distracted driver which resulted in significant injuries.
The defendant driver, who has a history of bad driving, failed to see the car in from of him which resulted in a rear-end collision. Our team of attorneys, Rebecca Page, Jennifer Neal, and Lance Kimbro, along with their team protected our client’s rights and made sure that justice was delivered.
It is important to hold companies accountable for hiring bad drivers, especially when they are behind the wheel of a large commercial vehicle. Our team at Watts Guerra has and will continue to fight for this mission to increase safety on the road. Great job everyone!

$2 Million Trucking Accident Settlement
Tractor-Trailer drivers are, in most cases, paid by the mile and are on strict deadlines to make a delivery by a certain time. This pay structure results in drivers being in a hurry and not paying appropriate attention, which results in crashes.
In this recent win by our team, Attorneys Jorge Mares and Oscar Quiroz held a tractor-trailer driver accountable for not paying attention. The driver failed to yield the right of way and crashed into our client, causing significant injuries. Jorge and Oscar along with their team fought hard for our client to ensure that justice would be served. Keep fighting the good fight!
