The defendant driver attempted to reverse across traffic lanes to back into a private driveway but failed to do so safely, crashing into our client’s vehicle. The defense argued that our client should have anticipated the defendant reversing into oncoming traffic.
However, during litigation, we were able to strike the opinions of the defense’s accident reconstruction expert after he admitted that even he would not have been able to determine the defendant driver’s actions ahead of time.
