Paola González Hernández is the Director of Mass Torts and Complex Litigation at Guerra LLP, where she oversees the firm’s wildfire docket, mass tort portfolio, and other high-stakes complex litigation matters. Paola has played a central role in some of the nation’s most significant fire cases, including the Camp and Tubbs Fires (FVT), Kincade, Archie Creek, Bobcat, Slater, Hermits Peak, McBride, Maui, Eaton, and Panhandle Fires. Paola’s work spans the full litigation lifecycle—overseeing intake, case strategy, expert development, mediation, and settlements across thousands of individual claims.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Paola graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, Metropolitan Campus, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Inter-American University School of Law in 2020, where she served as President of the Litigation Association (A.L.U.I.). During law school, she interned at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Puerto Rico, where she gained early exposure to federal litigation.
Paola joined Guerra LLP in 2021 and began her legal career representing plaintiffs in complex, high-profile mass tort cases. She quickly gained recognition for her strategic thinking, calm under pressure, and strong commitment to client advocacy. Today, she brings that same tenacity and leadership to the firm’s most significant litigation efforts.
