David was born and raised in Odessa, Texas. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at The University of Texas at The Permian Basin.
Shortly after graduating with his bachelors, David worked for multiple local law firms where he discovered his passion of helping others. This prompted him to attend law school at Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston Texas.

While in law school, David was an active member of several organizations including the Hispanic Law Student Association. After graduating law school, he worked as a paralegal with Watts Guerra (predecessor to Guerra LLP) and demonstrated his resilience and admirable work ethic while handling their busy Mass Torts docket. David is now an Associate Attorney at Guerra LLP whose focus is on class action, complex commercial, mass tort, and civil litigation.
In his free time, David enjoys soccer, board games, and spending time with his dogs.
